An Enchanting Affair

My heart's sister and talented friend, Nat, will be running a booth at LA's upcoming Labyrinth of Jareth, a  masquerade ball that carries deep into the hours of night when the borders between worlds weaken and mortals commune with the faeries.

If you've never heard of this before, fear not.  Neither have I.  But it looks pretty cool.
The introduction on the website reads
The Labyrinth of Jareth is a Masquerade Ball based on Venetian tradition, Celtic faerie and goblin lore, and stories of fantasy and wonder. Lost within the borders of chaos and light, nobles dance among the Fey while goblins wait with hungry eyes in the wings of their court.
A motley gathering of Brian Froud fairies and goblins, Celtic deities, mythological beings, folk creatures, fantasy races, and Venetian vampire-type nobility?
I would be going around the convention room trying to organize everyone according to culture, literary form, genre, and sub-genre and then ushering them into their own little parties in order to act out the traditions and stories accordingly.

And I'd have so much fun doing it.

Alas, I am almost as far as is geographically possible (while remaining in the same country) from the location of this fairy-tale-catering event.  But if you or anyone you know does end up going, do share.
